THE COTTAGE

This beachy cottage features 4 bedrooms (2 queen size beds, 1 full size bed, 2 twin beds set up as bunk beds), 2 full baths (one is a master bath), 1 half bath, 1 outside shower, FREE wireless high speed DSL throughout the cottage and yard, FREE local telephone use, and a convenient office area in case you can't get away without working. A new heat pump provides central air conditioning in the hot months and heat in the cooler months.
The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with all the standard appliances. The family room has comfortable furnishings including one queen size sofa bed, a color TV, a DVD/VCR player and a radio. This vacation rental has a full size washer and dryer in the storage room which is big enough to store your bikes and fishing gear as well. Take advantage of the spacious outside storage shed and bring any gear you need to have a good time. An outside shower is available to rinse off the sand after a fun day on the beach or out in the boat.
THE BEACH
The Delaware resort area is such a wonderful destination. The temperatures are moderate, the scenery is beautiful, the people are friendly, and the ocean takes center stage. Not only do we have the ocean, we also have the bay and all the inland waterways feeding into it, one of which is in the backyard of the Cottage By The Sea. Walk one and a half blocks and your feet are in the white sands of the guarded (in-season) Atlantic Ocean beach at South Bethany, or take your boat or kayak out into the inland waterways to see the wildlife such as eagles and blue heron and stay for a gorgeous sunset. In South Bethany you are half way between Ocean City, Maryland and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, both of which have big boardwalks with rides. Rehoboth Beach also has tax free outlets. Bethany Beach has it's own boardwalk which is very kid friendly and safe. There is live entertainment on the bandstand at night in the summer, lots of good food, and fun in a very close proximity to the Cottage By The Sea.
